Africa-1

Our organization operates primarily in Niger, one of the poorest countries in the world, located in West Africa. Niger faces significant challenges, including:

  • High Poverty Rates: With approximately 42% of the population living below the poverty line, many communities struggle to meet basic needs.

    • Geographical Barriers: The country is landlocked, and over two-thirds of its territory is desert, which limits access to resources like water, food, and healthcare.

    • Security and Refugee Issues: Niger is affected by terrorism and is a destination for refugees fleeing conflicts in neighboring countries, adding further strain on its already fragile infrastructure.

    • Vulnerable Populations: Widows, orphans, and impoverished families are particularly affected by these challenges, with limited access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities
